How the Ten Commandments Came to Be —

Who:          God
What:         Gave the Ten Commandments to his people Israel
When:        Over 3,000 years ago
Where:       In the Sinai Desert east of Egypt
Why:           To reveal his ways and explain what he means by good and evil

Now let’s look at the details as Uncle Bruce reads the biblical back story from Exodus 19-24.

My Prayer

Dearest Father, Thank you so much for freeing the people of Israel from cruel slavery. Another big thank you for taking the time to reveal who you are and what you mean by good and evil. And a final thank you for making the Ten Commandments available to all people who desire to know how you want us to live. You are so good! Amen.
