Follow Jesus’ Example: Put Others First —brothers-1548465-639x852

Put yourself aside and help others get ahead.

Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage.

Forget yourself long enough to lend a helping hand.

These are just a few of the verses from Philippians 2 (The Message) that explain how Jesus humbled himself in order to put the needs of others first.

Watch, listen, read — and be amazed!

My Prayer

I bow in worship before you, Jesus Christ, Master of all, for leaving your equal status with God the Father. You willingly became a lowly human being in order to put the needs of others first. I adore you for your selfless life and death and accept your gift of forgiveness. I give you my life in exchange — following your example to put the needs of others first. Amen.
