Enrichment Activities for Weave Your Word in Me

Learn “Trust in the Lord” Like a Jew —

Americans speak and read English. Jews speak and read Hebrew — the original language of the Old Testament.

Join the Jewish teacher Ayelet as she helps you learn to read and speak Proverbs 3:5-6 (also known as Trust in the Lord) in Hebrew.  See how quickly you can pick it up — especially the throat rolling sound when combining “kh.” Note that unlike English, Hebrew is written from right to left.

Enjoy!

My Prayer

Dearest Father, Thank you for the Jewish people and the Hebrew language. Thank you for using them to record your Word in the Old Testament. As I lean on you for understanding, may you faithfully guide me as you have promised in Proverbs 3:5-6. Amen.
