34c — You, Sin, and Christ (Illusions)

Pure Substitute for My Sin —

Illusions or magic tricks can be used as object lessons to help us better understand difficult Bible truths. Here are a pair of illusions that explain the relationship between you, sin, and Christ.

The first one is an amazing now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t type of presentation produced by Roshan Jonnalagadda. The second one produced by Scott O’Neill adds a twist to the first presentation, along with an explanation of how the illusion is done.

Both are great pictures of what happens inside the heart of a person who trusts in Jesus. Enjoy!

My Prayer

Dearest Father, I know that I am a sinner. I have no way of being able to remove sin from my heart by myself. On the other hand, Jesus Christ is pure and he willingly sacrificed his life to take away my sin. I accept his gift by faith. Thank you for making my heart pure through him — for real. Amen.
