Treasure of My Heart —
Jesus taught in Matthew 6:21 (KJV): “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” This means that the things I most value show what I look like inside.
God’s fondest desire is that:
1) He will be the treasure of my heart.
2) My relationship with him will be what I value above all else.
3) Even my wealth will be used to build his kingdom.
A fun way to remember this truth is to learn to fold an origami dollar bill heart. Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures.

My Prayer
Dearest Father, I want you to be the treasure of my heart. May my actions show that I value you above all else. Amen.
