Jesus’ Return Trip to Heaven —

When Jesus ascended into heaven (Acts 1), his disciples could see him until a cloud hid him from their sight. Experience what Jesus saw on the other side of the clouds by watching this amazing video that features images of the universe captured by the Hubble Telescope.

The words that appear with the images are taken from Colossians 1:15-17 and explain the wonder of who Jesus is in all of his glory. Be amazed!

My Prayer

Dearest Father, I know that Jesus is the visible image of you. He existed before anything was created and made everything that is seen and unseen. He holds all things together by the power of his word. The beauty of the whole universe praises him for who he is and what he has done. I praise him too. Amen.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
