Comforting Words About Heaven —
The disciples were beginning to worry, because Jesus was talking more and more about leaving. As a result, Jesus had a personal conversation with them about where he was going and their relationship with him once he left.
As you listen to the things he told them in John 14, put yourself in their shoes and listen as if you were there.
My Prayer
Dearest Father, Thank you for the words of comfort and direction that Jesus spoke to his disciples about heaven. Help me to remember that he spoke these things not only for them, but for me too. When my heart becomes troubled, help me to hold onto his promises and to place my trust in him as the sure way to heaven. Amen.
