The Learned Skill of Listening —
Listening is such an important skill that over and over again in the Scriptures we are strongly encouraged to practice it.
1 — What was the one message that God communicated to the disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration?

In the course of a da
y, God provides many interesting ways for us to improve our listening skills. One fun way is by paying attention to bird songs. Listen to these bird calls collected by E. Everett and see if you can identify them by ear.
My Prayer
Dearest Father, Thank you for all the things you have placed in our world to remind us how important and wonderful it is to listen. Please help me to learn to listen better — especially to those things that Jesus teaches. Amen.
